Hello one and all,
Yes, summer is indeed here. Our community gardens are looking great. Many thanks to the garden group for their hard work. Also, the front entrance of the hall is beautiful as ever, special thank you to Rita C, who helped with the shopping trip to Home Depot back in May.
I was very pleased to read the article about the Sarcee Meadows retrofit. The project is looking fantastic. I was living in the Meadows in the early seventies, so I am totally aware of how the cooperative has evolved over the years.
The hall remains closed for now, but it is my understanding that some progress has been made. Stay tuned on this. The community cleanup event will take place in September. This is always a very popular event and brings a lot of us together for sure.
I hope all of you enjoy the summer fun, take care of yourselves. And oh yes, remember to always smell the roses.
