Many volunteers are needed for this event, especially those that can do some heavy lifting to help at the city trucks and the metal/wood bins. It is lots of fun, you get a wee bit dirty, and you will meet some great community folks.
Good Neighbours Service is a free pick-up service for seniors or those in need that can’t do the heavy lifting anymore. A volunteer truck will come to your residence and bring your items for disposal or recycling to the community site.

Confirmed services on site include:
• City of Calgary Packer trucks for disposal (anything that won’t fit in your black cart).
• Metal and wood recycling bins thanks to Performance Waste.
• E-Cycle – thanks to Shanked Computer Recycling. The community will earn money for items brought in. Last year we made $388 so please save all of your electronics.
• Drop-In Centre to support their Move Out Program.
• OK Tire Richmond – accepting tires on and off rims.
• Free Store.
Unable to Accept:
Paint, glass, batteries, household chemicals, refrigerant, propane tanks, railways, sod, or soil.
