Rutland Park Musings

Hello, community friends. Winter is puttering along, and our days seem to be longer. By the time this goes to print, daylight savings time will be back!

News has reached us that we may be able to start the long awaited repair to our main hall. This is great news, and it will feel so good to have the hall back in operation.

My monthly photo this time around shows the location of my hometown. Yes, I was born in the Queen Victoria Hospital in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Needless to say, that hospital is long gone from that city. So, where do you come from? I am certain many of our readers come from afar, would be nice to know where you come from.

As you read this issue, please consider buying a 2026 membership to Rutland Park. The form is in the Post and is easy to fill out. I am sure our Membership Director will be happy to get one out to you. Memberships play a vital role in a community. Let’s all try to get our numbers up this year. How does a thousand members sound? We have the numbers to do it!

I am really looking forward to spring, and hope this finds you well. Soon those roses will bloom.

Cheers,

Isabell
