SBHCA hosted our Springbank Hill Pumpkin Festival, in partnership with Fiona Christiaansen and Slokker Homes, on October 18 in Springbank Hill Community Park. The weather was perfect. There were over 100 children, dressed in some amazing costumes, with parents in tow! Children enjoyed face painting, a balloon artist, a free pumpkin to take home, along with Halloween candy and juice boxes.
A heartfelt thank you to Slokker Homes, Fiona Christiaansen Remax, and Ward 6 for funding this event. It would not have been possible without them. We will be announcing more upcoming events in the near future and are always in need of volunteers to help plan and assist on the event day.
