Greetings! As you read this newsletter we will be entering the month of April, and I trust that you, like me, are hoping for an early spring! With the official end of the winter season in late March we will see whether the weather we experience will match the expectations of the spring season. Regardless, I always enjoy walking in our community, through the many pathways which are peaceful and relaxing any time of the year.
Our seasonal skating rinks should now be closed for the season. Stay tuned for updates on spring and summer programs and events that we will be offering. One is in the planning stages – our annual Community Cleanup event that will be run once again in collaboration with Discovery Ridge and Signal Hill community associations. This will provide an opportunity to dispose of any unwanted items that have been accumulating in the basement or garage.
We are pleased to report that we have onboarded several new board members and volunteers. This will allow us to make good progress on our strategic plan priorities for 2025. We always have room for additional volunteers, and as always, I do encourage anyone who wishes to explore the opportunity to contact us at [email protected].
Stay healthy and active!
