As we approach year-end, our board members and volunteers are preparing for the Christmas season and planning to wind down our work and enjoy time with family and friends. We do hope that this time of the year is enjoyable for you as well. If the weather co-operates, we would love to open our two seasonal ice rinks before Christmas so that families can enjoy those facilities while children are home from school during the holiday period. Stay tuned for announcements as we know more about the rink plans. We are also looking for volunteers to help hold a skating event in early 2025; more information on this can be found in this newsletter.
Following our successful AGM in late October we did recruit several new board members and volunteers, and we’ve been busy getting these new members up to speed. This will allow us to ramp up our plans for 2025 with new ideas and fresh perspectives on opportunities we can pursue. But there is room for more volunteers, and we welcome any enquires about our openings. Simply email us at [email protected] for more information.
