What a night! Our sixth Annual Movie in the Park was another wonderful success! Families and friends gathered at West Springs Park to enjoy live entertainment, community fun, and a movie under the stars.
The evening opened with a fantastic live music performance by Brady Daniels, whose music was the perfect start to the night. The Kids Talent Show that followed was a highlight, with our community’s youth showing off their amazing talents. Thank you to all the kids who stepped up and made us proud!
This year’s movie selection was decided by community vote, and the winner was The Greatest Showman on the big outdoor screen. It was the perfect choice for a family-friendly summer evening.
We’d also like to thank everyone who registered in advance. Not only did it help us plan, but it gave you a chance to be entered into our gift card prize draws. Congratulations to everyone who won a draw prize or contest, we hope you enjoy celebrating your win with a night out at 722 World Bier Haus.
Speaking of 722, our community owes a huge thank you to them, who stepped up once again as our key event sponsor. From providing free bagged popcorn and soft drinks to supporting our prize draws, they help make this event enjoyable year after year. Our food vendors also kept everyone happy with tasty snacks and drinks, and a big thank you goes to YYC Food Trucks.
A final and big thank you goes to Tanya, our dedicated volunteer who organizes this event with heart and energy every summer. We couldn’t do it without you!
And of course, thank you to everyone who helped clean up and left the park looking fantastic.
