Thank you to all the gardeners at the WSCRCA Community Garden who grew and harvested produce for the Calgary Food Bank.
To date, 79 lbs of potatoes and beets were donated to the Food Bank. There are still several beds filled with carrots, onions, and squash to be harvested in the next few weeks.
A special thank you to David, Allie, and Lynelle (and Lynelle’s family), who were a huge help in looking after and harvesting the produce this year!
Also, a thank you to the Calgary Horticultural Society, which donated hundreds of sets of onions that were planted for the Food Bank.
