Hello Woodcreek Community Members,
We would love for you to be a part of our largest fundraiser this coming June – our Charity Casino. Our casino is on Wednesday, June 10 and Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino. Volunteers are invited to take on roles such as the General Manager, Banker, Cashier, Chip Runner, and Count Room Personal. Even if you have never volunteered at the casino, you will be trained and well fed for your time and effort. With your help we can raise funds that support the Woodcreek Community Association, and you get to meet your neighbours and make some new acquaintances.
The Casino runs over two days with shifts divided into three time slots. You are welcome to sign up for more than one shift, but you have to be in the same role for both shifts.
Day Shift: 11:00 am to 7:30 pm
Night Shift: 6:45 pm to 3:45 am
Count Room Shift: 11:00 pm to 3:45 am
A Few Key Notes:
• All volunteers have to be 18 years of age or older
• If you volunteer for both days, you will hold the same position for both days
• Key volunteers require a Volunteer Worker Application which we will send to you for completion
