Autumn has come around once again. Programs at the community hall are in full swing. We’ve been getting enquiries for renting out our various rooms, but we are pretty full. If you’d like to rent space, contact the office sooner rather than later.
Even though it’s hot right now, our hardworking staff have been working to get ready for the winter skating season, on the assumption the weather allows it. If you’d like to help out, please contact the office.
Our Annual General Meeting will be on Tuesday, November 26 at 7:15 pm. If you are interested in joining the board, we’d love to talk to you. We are looking for positions of 2nd Vice President, Casino Coordinator, and Police Liaison, and we’d love to have people step forward to coordinate an event or events for adults. Please contact the office for more information. Please ensure your membership has renewed, or a new membership is purchased before October 26. The AGM is typically a fairly quick meeting, and there will be a social afterward.
The Craft Sale is on November 2 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Get a start on your Christmas shopping.
The Good Food box order deadline is October 14 for pickup October 23. It’s easy to donate a box to the pantry.
