Hello Woodcreek!
We hope your seasonal preparations are well underway and wish you all the best this holiday season. Our building is nearly fully booked well into January, so if you’re looking to rent space, please contact our office as soon as possible.
Our staff and volunteers work incredibly hard to put on great events, and their success is showing; attendance continues to grow! To help us plan appropriately for supplies and ensure safety, we ask that you register in advance for events. Registration typically closes a few days before each event, and we appreciate your understanding as we begin to factor in fire regulations for attendance limits.
We’re looking forward to welcoming new directors at our upcoming AGM on November 25. At the time of writing, the meeting is still ahead, but by the time you read this, we’ll have fresh faces joining our leadership team. We’re excited about the ideas and energy they’ll bring to Woodcreek.
Looking ahead to 2026, we’re preparing for some exciting upgrades to our main floor. Planned renovations include new flooring throughout, new LED lighting, and a refreshed paint scheme. While we aim to complete this work over the summer, contractor scheduling and logistics may require us to temporarily relocate tenants and events. We’ll do our best to minimize disruption and provide as much notice as possible.
December brings a few key dates to keep in mind. The Good Food Box order deadline is December 1, with pickup scheduled for December 10. And don’t miss our festive Skate with Santa event on December 13—an afternoon of skating, treats, and holiday cheer for the whole family!
