Woodcreek Community Association has been selected to receive an ActivateYYC 2023 microgrant, proudly supported by The City of Calgary and the Federation of Calgary Communities.
The ActivateYYC grant will provide a Bump out on Woodborough Road to ease congestion, parking, and make Woodborough Park a welcoming and inviting space.
The City of Calgary is finalizing the traffic calming devices they will provide for our project. In the meantime, we are looking for a small committee consisting of four to six members to help create the final bump out plan, determine a project timeframe, and engage others to participate on the actual installation day. Be creative! Painting the street, adding containers full of flowers, or using solar lighting are just a few ideas.
