Neighbour Day | June 15 | 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Did someone say free BBQ? Hawkwood Community Association is hosting its second annual Neighbour Day celebration on June 15 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Hawkwood Community Park. The first 300 guests will receive a complimentary BBQ hot dog lunch sponsored by Ben Sweet, Justin Becker & Associates. Children can enjoy Bouncy Houses sponsored by Hawkwood Auto as well as other games and activities, and adults can sit back and enjoy some nostalgic tunes performed by Steve Nelson and the Rockin’ Kings while sipping a chilled, craft brew.
