Hawkwood Community Association hosted a very successful Neighbour Day event on June 17 at the Hawkwood Community Park. Hundreds of guests showed up to enjoy a BBQ lunch sponsored by Melissa Kost Realty, a Butterfield Acres petting zoo sponsored by Ben Sweet Justin Becker and Associates, bouncy castles sponsored by Hawkwood Auto, and plenty of other entertainment and fun. We had music, craft beer options from Born Brewing, parkour demonstrations from Breathe Parkour, pickleball demonstrations, and the crew from Hawkwood 7/11 showed up with freebies for everyone! Thanks also to Focused Optometry, Rumble Fitness, Melcor YMCA, and Motion Focus & Sports Clinic for donations that went to the Wellness Basket raffle.
