Are you someone who complains about the weather? Is it too wet? Too dry? Too hot? Too cold? Do you hearken back to the long-ago days when carrots still tasted like carrots? In April, do you start to yearn for the first green shoots to peek out from the still snowy ground?
Maybe deep down inside you are a gardener. Maybe you are one of us… a hopeful complainer with a happy heart and dirty hands.
If you’d like to find out, we have a garden bed for you. A place where you can join a chorus of voices cursing the lack or surplus of rain, where you can tend to your own little green shoots, a place where carrots still taste like carrots, and where you will earn bragging rights if your first planting takes root, while the rest of us plant again and then again and blame the weather.
There are a limited number of beds available for 2026. Best to reserve yours now!
The annual cost for a standard bed is $50. Smaller more easily accessible beds are available for $25. All gardeners also make a six-hour service commitment to the garden. Most of that time is spent working with fellow gardeners to maintain the garden infrastructure and perimeter plantings.
Gardeners must hold a valid WHMCA community association membership.
We are expecting you. Contact us at [email protected].
