Kids, bring your favourite tall person and come explore the natural world at our Hawkwood Community Park this spring!
Nature playgroup encourages kids’ love of the outdoors in all weather while offering parents and caregivers a way to connect! Aimed at ages one to six, but all are welcome. Dress for the weather: we will meet in in most weather (excluding heavy rain, snow, or cold) as long as the temperature is above -10C with windchill.
What to Expect
A low-structure, low demand program – perfect for kids who want to learn and explore in their own way. The host will offer some invitations to play that kids can participate in at their leisure such as large play equipment, digging tools, etc. Otherwise, they are free to explore the park with parents, caregivers, and new friends!
