It was a fabulous day for a Winter Carnival! January 14 turned out to be a gorgeous Sunday with the temperature reaching 7 degrees Celsius. Amy Brooks and Emily Sudermann of Brooks Realty readied the hot chocolate and coffee station and laid out a table of smore kits for the kids. Inside the main hall, the ladies brought in a face painter and set up tables for colouring. Cal Melrose was on hand to set-up the fire pit and Adirondack chairs the Brooks team rented for the event. The night before, Trevor Brown and his crew watered down the ice rinks to a mirror finish. All that was left to do was wait for the 20-odd families who showed up to have fun and enjoy our wonderful park and facilities!
