Hello Glenbrook!
As we move into August and find our days getting shorter once again, it will not be long before kids get ready to head back to school and we move back into our regular routines. I hope everyone in Glenbrook has had an opportunity to enjoy the summer.
I am excited to announce that we have selected two very deserving recipients of our Glenbrook Lifetime Member Award for 2023. The winners will be revealed at our Annual General Meeting in December.
As we get ready to return to our monthly board meetings in September, the Glenbrook Community Association is looking for additional volunteers to help us with events and other projects. Our current members are very dedicated to ensuring that the work of the association continues behind the scenes; however, we are always in need of new faces to help out with existing and new ideas. If you have considered volunteering in your community, I encourage you to reach out. Whatever your interests or abilities are, we can find you something that fits with your schedule and skills. If you are interested, send an email to [email protected] and one of us will get back to you.
I hope to reconnect with you all this fall and winter. Please remember to watch your speed when driving through the neighbourhood as we enjoy the warm summer evenings.
