Howdy Rosemontians!
Hope everyone is getting their gardens ready for another great growing season.
A big thanks to Kris, Mel, and everyone that helped organize Pub Night. It was a great success!
Have stuff to throw out? We are doing a Spring Cleanup event with Cambrian on Sunday, May 19 from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm (we had some slim pickings for dates). This event relies on volunteers like you so please email us at [email protected] and we will put you in touch with our great organizer, Bent. See the poster and our website for more info about items you can dispose/recycle.
You may have noticed a bunch of construction around the hall. We are replacing the ramp and stairs to the main entrance and finishing work on the seacan storage containers. Contact me if you want more info as it has been quite the saga.
We are also planning our Stampede Breakfast for July 6. Volunteers needed! Please email us at [email protected] to lend your hand for an hour or two.
Speaking of volunteering, we are always looking for folks to join the board. No experience necessary and it is a low time commitment (a few hours each month). Please email us for more info.
And a huge thank you to Jean, Patrick, and Dave for a great year of shinny despite some challenging weather! And thanks, as well to the Ice Guys for all of their hard work too.
We also have a new tenant in our hall with yoga taking place on Monday nights. See our website for more details and how to register with them!
