The birds will be back this season in bigger numbers, and the colony is expanding; in 2024 all the houses were taken by happy peeps. Andrew B., the resident who puts time, passion, and money into this project, will send us updates later in the season, but for now we just want everyone who takes walks in the community to know more about this project. This is the location of the project in case you walk by and wonder what the white birdhouse is all about. Just a reminder for the parents – please do not let your kids shake the post of the birdhouse, the Purple Martins are quite sensitive, and they can be stressed and disturbed by those shakings.
