Sonny had a ’66 Plymouth when he was a kid, but it was only a sedan with Slant Six and 3-on-the-tree.
In 2017, he spotted an ad for this special-order convertible for salt, one of only four produced with the Commando 440-V8 and 4-speed transmission.
It was fully restored and advertised in the Montreal area. A lot of the info was in French, but he bought it anyhow. If 2025 hadn’t been monsoon season in Alberta, he’d have driven it a bit more.
