Rick’s rag top is a one-year-only body style and the first year for the Impala, so for 1958, GM gave it both names.
His fully-restored car was exported to France, where it spent several years. Recently it was returned to Calgary, with a couple of French quirks still on the car (our favourite is the switch for the dual-tone Town & Country horn settings).
It’s crossed the Atlantic Ocean twice now, more than a lot of globetrotters.
