Westwinds Calgary experienced 15 crimes in September 2024, in comparison to 9 crimes the previous month, and 10 crimes in September one year ago. The Westwinds community has an average of 9.7 crimes per month. On an annual basis, Westwinds had a total of 116 crimes as of September 2024, which is down 30% in comparison to 165 crimes as of September 2023. Total Westwinds community crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.
Westwinds Calgary had 8 break and enter (B&E) crimes in September, in comparison to 0 B&E crimes in August and 0 B&E crimes in September 2023. On an annual basis, Westwinds had a total of 13 B&E crimes as of September 2024, which is down from 32 B&E crimes as of September 2023.
