Temple Crime Activity was Up in January 2024

Temple Calgary experienced 15 crimes in January 2024, in comparison to 9 crimes the previous month, and 13 crimes in January one year ago. The Temple community has an average of 14.8 crimes per month. On an annual basis, Temple had a total of 178 crimes as of January 2024, which is down 37% in comparison to 283 crimes as of January 2023. Total Temple community crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.

Temple Calgary had 3 break and enter (B&E) crimes in January, in comparison to 0 B&E crimes in December and 5 B&E crimes in January 2023. On an annual basis, Temple had a total of 11 B&E crimes as of January 2024, which is down from 57 B&E crimes as of January 2023.

Temple had 11 vehicle related crimes (theft of or theft from vehicles) in January 2024, in comparison to 7 vehicle related crimes in the previous month, and 5 vehicle related crimes in January 2023. On an annual basis, Temple had a total of 114 vehicle related crimes as of January 2024, which is down in comparison to 172 vehicle related crimes as of January 2023.
