Dear Lake Bonavista Community,
As we head into August, the health and safety of our community and employees remains our priority. Since the re-opening of our facility on June 29, we have enjoyed the safe return of employees and facility users. It’s wonderful to see the community safely engage in pickleball, basketball, figure skating, and hockey for some much-needed activity. This month, we are hosting a few small day camps and look forward to welcoming more groups back as our leisure ice surface opens.
The LBCA continues to follow the direction and guidelines of our provincial health authorities. In the fall, we will see the return of additional users and it is likely that some of our existing policies will be revised. Prior to visiting the LBCA, please check our website to review the COVID-19 Facility Guidelines.
Over the last 4 months, we have received $4000 in donations; we are grateful for your generosity. Now, more than ever, your support is needed. Monetary gifts will ensure the LBCA is able to continue to offer programs, activities, and events for the community, and improve our aging facility.
