An August Note from the Killarney-Glengarry’s Editor

Dear Neighbours,

Welcome to the August edition of the Killarney-Glengarry newsletter. Once again, I hope it finds you well. Summer 2020 will be a summer to remember due to the absence of the summer festivals and events that cannot go ahead at this time. However, with the gradual opening up of the province, perhaps this is just a different kind of summer.

I have quite enjoyed the slower pace that 2020 has given us and over the past couple of months, my daily walks have allowed me to explore the community some more. I also have time to connect more with friends and it is nice to be able to meet for coffee in person once again – physically distanced of course! It has also been a great time to work on various creative projects that I normally do not have enough time for, and with some self-reflection, I have discovered an appreciation and contentment for what I have.

I hope everyone is having a relaxing summer so far and getting out and enjoying the sunshine!

Until next time, take care!
