What Can Your MLA Do for You?
• Be your liaison for governmental concerns, including listening to policy suggestions and grievances with provincial programs.
• Answer questions about programs and services that are provincially regulated and mandated.
• Help navigate AISH, Alberta Supports, AADL, MEP, WCB, AINP, Seniors Benefits, and other provincial programs.
• Critic for Childcare and Child and Family Services
• Direct you to organizations in your community that can connect you with services.
• Follow up on your concerns and support your advocacy with the proper ministry.
• Provide congratulatory scrolls to commemorate important milestones, such as birthdays, business openings, and wedding anniversaries.
• Provide limited Notary Public and Commissioner of Oath Services and help you fill out provincial forms and applications.
• Liaise between you, community organizations, small businesses, and the provincial government.
• Attend community events on behalf of the Official Opposition and celebrate the amazing things happening in Calgary-Acadia!
