58th Thorncliffe / Greenview Beavers – November

Scouts Canada

The Beaver Colony has started off the Scout year with a move to Thursday nights, meeting from 630 – 730 pm. The Colony is learning about being a Beaver and the scouting system. The night starts with an opening gathering game followed by opening ceremony. We have planned to join the 239 Beaver Colony for a Sleepover Saturday November 24th at the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller. This will be one of the first outings for the year.

The Colony will also be joining the rest of the 58 Scout Group for a Remembrance Day ceremony at the field of crosses November 8. We will be having an all section Halloween party on November the 1. The beavers have already created a bird feeder and paper puppets. They are learning about the beaver moto Sharing, Sharing, Sharing.
