Hello Renfrew Community!
My name is Lara Hogan, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new administrative assistant for the Renfrew Community Association. I’ve been brought on board to check the Renfrew email and ensure your requests, ideas, and feedback are directed to the right person. I’ll be addressing all messages weekly and helping improve our communication.
A key goal of mine is to help boost community engagement and volunteerism – both of which have been low since the pandemic. I’m also focused on finding ways to increase revenue for our community centre, so we can continue offering great programs and events.
If you’re looking for an easy way to get involved, consider volunteering at our monthly Jellybean Dance held at the community centre, or pop by our Coffee Club on Wednesdays from 2:00 to 4:30 pm. Both are great ways to connect with others in the neighbourhood. All information about volunteer opportunities can be found on our website at renfrewyyc.ca.
