ᐱᔦᓰᐢᑳᐤ piyêsîskâw

“Here at Rotary Park, where the hillside falls down into the river valley, you will be able to spot many beautiful species of our winged kin. The confluence of the rivers is a meeting place not only for us humans, but for many others as well. We invite you to consider how this place has changed in the last hundred years, but also the parts that remain. The nests that are built in these trees return spring after spring, and the generations of birds born here have found ways to live in harmony despite the rapid development of humans. What can we learn from them?”

Artists: Jasmine Piper, Amber Boyd, Riel Starr, Staci Duchene-Wolfe, Sarah Whalen-Lunn, and Hilary McDonnell.
