The Highwood Community Social Committee recently created an email distribution list to send communication to our community members. If you did not receive the first email but would like to be included on our email communication, please send an email to [email protected].
You can expect to receive approximately four to six emails a year from us.
Our emails will provide information on:
- Community Events (Movie in the Park, BBQ, Halloween party, etc.)
- Annual General Meeting
- Survey links to gather feedback on a community issue

The HCA just completed a social media Summer Challenge. We would like to thank all the local businesses that sponsored the Summer Challenge by donating great prizes: The Bun King Bakery and Deli, Carmine’s Pizzeria, Northmount Fitness, The Healing Tree, Villages Pizza, Urban St. Donair, Mikey’s Taco Shop, Phoholics, Chiropractic Sport and Muscle, and the Highwood Outdoor Pool. We are proud to live in Highwood, and we hope you are too! If you are interested in engaging with your community through meaningful volunteer work, the HCA is always looking for more volunteers. If you are passionate about something (writing, website building, communications, social media, social events, landscape, parks, sports, etc.), there is a place for you on the HCA Board. The HCA Board meets the second Tuesday of every month, September to June.
