Season’s Greetings from the Kincora Community Association (KCA),
It’s hard to believe that it’s December already! On behalf of the board of directors, we want to thank each family and sponsor who has showed support for our community both this year and previous years, whether it was joining the KCA by purchasing a $20 membership, attending one of our events, donating your time or money, connecting with us through our Facebook page and website, or by just being a good neighbour.
Kincora is a safe community; one of the safest in Calgary. It’s also one of the friendliest too. As the year starts to wind down, and the holiday season approaches, we hope that while you are spending time with your families, you take a moment to remember that great communities are built on the strength of its families, and we hope that you all will continue to support our community association and one another.
2019 will be an exciting year full of more events, an updated website, member discounts at your local stores and opportunities to be stronger and safer as a community. We currently have an opening on our board for a Director of Sponsorship. So, if you are interested in fundraising and connecting with our business partners, this could be the role for you! We also hope that you all consider renewing your $20 annual membership with us by either mailing in the membership form found in this newsletter or go directly to our website www.kincora.org to safely purchase it there.
Lastly, our skating rink should be up and running very soon and it would be great if we can all work together as a community to shovel it when required. I know our kids and other volunteers will appreciate the help!
