Melissa is one of the most active members of the MCA Community Garden. She is already planning a summer with the soil by getting a head start on vegetables that will be part of this year’s mix of items.
“I started them at home to transplant at the community garden in the spring since they take a long time to grow to maturity. Onions have been very popular at the garden, so we are planning to plant more this year.”
