On November 7, the Ranchlands Community Association held its annual general meeting and board election. I would like to thank everyone who attended to hear our annual update, budgetary reports, and voted in the board election.
I am honored to have been elected to the role of President of the RCA. Joining me on the board in the role of Vice President is Kim Rodger, as well as our returning treasurer Melanie Grier, and Secretary of 3 terms Nadine Bird. Rounding out the board is our three directors-at-large, newcomer Chris Tindall, and returning directors Christina Bain and Sabrina Savage. Thank you to these individuals for stepping forward to support and lead the community association. I also want to extend a huge thank-you to our departing President CJ Kinsella for all her hard work during her two years at the helm of the RCA. I served with her last year as Vice President and could not have asked for a better mentor.
The last year (and beyond) has been full of uncertainty due to the ongoing pandemic and it unfortunately meant the RCA was not able to hold our usual events and programming. As things progress and stabilize, the board is excited about what the new year will hold for us, the RCA and the community as a whole.
On behalf of myself and the entire board, thank you for your continued support through the purchase of a membership, RCA merchandise, as well as those who volunteer their time and energy for things like flooding our rink, the Ranchlands Food Pantry, and more. We could not be as successful as we are without all of you.
