Fairviewers seem to love their dogs, and sure have a lot of them! When you’re out with Fido, Spot, Rex, or Steve, please remember the Calgary bylaws that apply to our furry canine friends in the city.
All dogs must be on-leash at all times, unless you are on your own property, or in a designated off-leash area. This means no sidewalk walks without a leash, and no off-leash dogs in parks. Dogs are not allowed on playgrounds at all, or on school grounds.
Make sure you always have a bag on hand and pick up your dog’s doo-doo.
Dogs must be under control in designated off-leash areas. This means they must be in sight of their owners and respond to sight or sound commands.
