Safe Tweens

10 to 14 years

Winter Session 2: March 22 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm (Duration two hours)

This course involves safety training and hands on skills for youth in a fun and interactive environment. Classes will teach teens to become aware of the need for solid boundaries, avoid potentially dangerous situations, and teach them to defend against and escape a possible perpetrator. Age appropriate when compared to Safe Teens.

Residents: $150 | Non-Residents: $165

Safe Adults

Ages 18+ years

Winter Session 2: March 22 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm

This popular self-defence class will instill specific strategies and mental skills necessary to avoid a potential attack or escape a determined perpetrator. Participants get to practice the skills in a simulated, safe environment and leave the session with a renewed sense of confidence and peace of mind.

Residents: $150 | Non-Residents: $165

Beginner Knitting

Ages 18+ years

Winter Session 2: March 3 to March 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm

Cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, cast off. Learn all the basics of knitting!

Participants choose from many different patterns for their first project. By the end of the session students will have mastered the basics of knitting and will have forged friendships with other budding knitters.

Come out to this fun class and feel the satisfaction of creativity!

Residents: $85 | Non-Residents: $100
