Multicultural Food Truck Festival
June 1 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Need to give your taste buds a kick? Take a trip to the New Brighton Clubhouse and grab a meal from one of three authentic international food trucks, and don’t forget to pick up dessert while you’re here! Make sure to clear your schedule so you can watch some fantastic performances by several multicultural groups within Calgary!

4. Mini Donuts Canada
Community Cleanup
June 2 from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm
Location: Shepard Community Hall (10800 84 St SE)
The New Brighton/Shepard Community Cleanup event provides an opportunity for Calgarians to dispose of items that do not fit in their waste and recycling carts. This event also supports community residents who do not have access to cart service. Please note that these events accept residential waste only.
Services available and items accepted include City of Calgary packer waste trucks (three onsite with crews), charity donations, tires, AR batteries, metals, electronics, bike recycling, and more! Check out our website (www.newbrighton-connect.com) for more vendor updates.
Items not being accepted include household chemicals, glass, paint, and propane/helium tanks.
Parade of Garage Sales
June 8 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Want a hassle-free garage sale but don’t want to do the advertising? You can register your address today for only $12 and the NBRA does all the work for you! The address of the garage sale will be featured on Facebook, Instagram, and our community map showing all the garage sales happening in New Brighton. The community map will be featured on this event page and printed copies will be available at the Clubhouse in the days leading up to the event! Each resident that registers for this event will receive a garage sale sign for their front lawn!
This year, New Brighton has partnered with McKenzie Towne and Mahogany to create a day full of sales. Make a trip to each community on June 8 and find hidden treasures and great deals!
