We are very lucky to have a thriving colony of Purple Martins in New Brighton. More and more people are inquiring about it and when a New Brighton resident started this project it even made a buzz in the local news.
As the project enters year six, the population of birds is growing and there are talks of expanding the capacity. If you haven’t seen these birds yet, we recommend you putting it on the “to do” list for the next season – the scenery of them feeding in the late afternoon is something special.
