Overnight Lights and 9:00 pm Routine
Unfortunately, crime is on the rise in our community. Most of the crimes are labelled by CPS as crimes of opportunity because some simple safety habits can deter prowling in our community.
The 9:00 pm routine– take a tour around your property, check if you locked the cars in the driveway, check all doors and windows, and don’t make life easy for the bad guys. Let’s all stay safe and protect each other.
The overnight lights in front of your house are essential in making thieves feel uneasy and move on. With LED lightbulbs, it is not a big expense to have them on overnight. Streets that are pitch black at night are associated with frequent robberies. Just set your lights on a timer and keep the house brighter. It is a small investment that can have a big impact on the overall safety of your house and your neighbourhood.
