We are looking forward to another great year of providing small but mighty ways to help others and share in community acts of kindness and generosity.
In August, we ran our annual Backpacks for Back-to-School Drive, collecting donations and using funds to give backpacks and school supplies to kids in need. This year we partnered with the organization “Closer to Home” through Planet Youth. They will help to get the supplies to schools in high-needs communities. We also designated 24 bags to go to local schools in Deer Run and Queensland. We collected/contributed over $2,500 in backpacks and supplies. The schools are all very grateful to receive these donations. Thank you very much to all the generous donors and volunteers for all the amazing donations of time, money and supplies.
