Parkland’s First Annual Christmas Light Contest
What a dazzling display of lights, Christmas magic, and incredible community spirit! Our neighbourhood truly shined this year with so many light displays that choosing winners was no easy task.
The judging was based on several criteria including originality, labour, visual impact, and engagement. The scoring was so close, in fact, that we ended up with a four-way tie for third place, which had to be settled by a draw! While some truly wonderful displays didn’t make the final list, they certainly didn’t go unnoticed. We hope you’ll toss your address into the mix next year so we can admire and judge your holiday cheer too!

Anti-Fraud (Cyber-Crime Focus)
May 27 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Parkland Hall.
The focus will be a focus on cyber-crime and artificial intelligence as it pertains to social media as well as other potentially fraudulent activities.
