You are what a CMCA volunteer looks like!
This month, the CMCA Board of Directors is all about our volunteers. We couldn’t run all the fabulous events and programs without those people who step up to lend a hand. But we need more of you!
If you’ve been on the fence about joining the volunteer crew at the community centre, now’s the time to step up. We have lots of fun opportunities to get involved with. Along with bingo, the ice crew, and concession opportunities, there are also several exciting events and activities being planned for the spring and summer months.
If you need more encouragement, we are hosting a volunteer appreciation event on April 23. To secure your invitation to this exclusive community event, you only need to sign up to volunteer. Visit cmca.ca, choose ‘Get Involved’ from the top menu, click on ‘Volunteer’, and scroll down to ‘Sign Up as a Volunteer’. It’s as simple as that!

The Big Yellow Bag fundraiser is coming back this year! You save on your orders and the community benefits. Watch for details on our Facebook page and in the upcoming eScoop newsletter.
Community Information Session on the 14 Street construction will be held at the community centre on May 16. Further details will be posted closer to the date.
The Annual Community Clean-up is booked for July 22. Details to come!
