Chinook Blast Brings Winter Energy to Eau Claire
Chinook Blast wrapped up in Eau Claire Plaza after more than two weeks of winter programming, light installations, and free outdoor activities. The festival’s move to its new home in Eau Claire was a great success, and the unusually warm weather helped bring out steady crowds throughout the event.
The plaza was filled with illuminated art, interactive displays, live performances, skating at the Lagoon, fire pits, and family-friendly activities. Many neighbours stopped by more than once, and the space felt lively day and night.
Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the plaza feel active and welcoming during Calgary’s winter season. We’re already looking forward to next year!
