The outdoor skating lagoon at Prince’s Island Park is now open for the season, offering one of Calgary’s most scenic places to skate along the Bow River.
Skaters of all ages are welcome throughout the week for casual skating, family outings, or a winter walk through the park. Free skating lessons take place on Saturdays at 2:00 pm, and free skate rentals are available to the first 50 people, also starting at 2:00 pm on Saturdays until March 28.
Skate rentals are available on site outside of the free rental window. Hours and rental details can be found at calgaryskaterentals.com. Hours may vary depending on weather and ice conditions.
