Join
the Pathway and River Clean-Up This May

Spring
in Calgary means longer days, melting snow, and the return of the Pathway and
River Clean-Up, one of the city’s longest-running volunteer events.

Taking
place May 1 to 3, the annual cleanup brings thousands of Calgarians together to
help remove litter from parks, pathways, and riverbanks after the winter
months. It’s a simple way to make a visible difference in the spaces we all
enjoy, including the Bow River pathways right here in and around Eau Claire.

Volunteers
work in small groups for about three hours, collecting litter along assigned
routes and leaving filled bags in designated spots for City crews to collect.
It’s a great opportunity to spend time outdoors, meet neighbours, and help keep
Calgary’s natural spaces clean and welcoming.

Anyone
12 years and older can participate, and families, friends, and community groups
are encouraged to sign up together.
