A few years back, John went against most car-guy wisdom and purchased this partly-built street rod.
But it was a ’51 and you just never saw one. His wife and young family were not impressed.
The newer drivetrain was already installed, so it was just a matter of paint, bodywork, new interior and stereo.
Doing most of the work himself allowed the budget to be stretched enough to cover everything. But look at the finished product!
