President’s Message

Happy March Glenbrook!

As we move into spring, we have another exciting season of community association programming and events. This month, in conjunction with the City of Calgary, we will be running a wellness and self-care workshop, and in April, a community volunteer will be offering a card-making class. More information on both of these can be found here in the Globe.

I want to take a moment to highlight something that keeps our association thriving: membership. When you purchase a community membership, whether you live within Glenbrook or simply enjoy being part of our activities, you directly support the programs, events, and initiatives that make our neighbourhood vibrant. Membership funds help us maintain facilities, offer diverse programming for all ages, and bring people together to create a sense of belonging. Simply put, the more members we have, the more that we are able to offer.

One of the things I am most proud of is that our membership is open to everyone. You don’t need to be a resident of Glenbrook to join us. If you purchase a membership, you are welcome at all of our activities throughout the year. It is a simple way to stay connected, meet new people, and contribute to the continued growth of a community you care about. If you haven’t purchased a membership, I encourage you to consider it. Your support truly makes a difference. You can sign up through the membership form in the newsletter or get one from the community hall. They can be purchased in-person at one of our programs or events, dropped off at the hall, or mailed through Canada Post. Thank you for being a part of our community’s story!

All the best,

Kim
