In 2022, ENMAX Energy donated solar equipment to the Glenbrook Community Association through the ENMAX Community Solar Fund and hired local tradespeople to install the equipment with no upfront financial commitment on our part. This solar installation will yield a long-term benefit, as the average lifetime is between 20 and 25 years.

We worked with ENMAX to design a roof-mounted, solar photovoltaic energy system. Based on the available accessible roof area, and considering all pertinent limitations associated with rooftop appurtenances, the system had the following characteristics:

• 55 photovoltaic 400-watt modules

• Approximately 22 kW DC (direct current) of installed generation capacity

• Approximately 18,588 kWh of annual electricity production

In 2024, our solar system saw 17,300 kWh of electricity production, with a cost saving of $1,313 for the Glenbrook Community Association.
