Hello Glenbrook!

My name is Buttercup. I am a calico, and I am seven years old. I was rescued from a ranch (I’m an indoor city cat, through and through) where I was born on May 24, 2016. A Gemini!

I adore breakfast and treats, tearing up and down the hallway, and my family. I had two siblings, Murphy and Sugar, when I first moved in. I miss them, but I am perfectly suited to being an only cat.

My favourite person in the world is my mom. She was only five when she rescued me, but she takes amazing care of me. My second favourite is my best friend Mr. Mouse-y. He’s in the photo, but he’s in his favourite place, underneath me. We hang out all the time – he even came to my first vet appointment. My third favourite is the Provider. She feeds me and cleans my powder room, but her snuggles pale in comparison to mom’s. My family loves me very much. I offer more than just love and affection – I am a proficient bug huntress and I protect my humans from strange sounds in the house.

I have lived in our Glenbrook house all my life. I spend a good part of each day surveying the neighbourhood from various windows, where I dream about chasing the many birds, squirrels, occasional coyotes, and nice neighbours that I see.
