Hello Glenbrook!

Summer is almost officially here, and we will soon be spending more time outside and in our yards and gardens.

We are partnering with Glendale this year to bring back a Glenbrook Parade of Garage Sales. If you are planning on holding a garage sale this year, why not plan for Saturday, June 8, and we will do the advertising for you. Our annual community BBQ will be held on the same day at the hall – it is free for those with community memberships and $2 for non-members. We hope to see you there.

Come check out the outdoor facilities at our community rink. They are free for all Glenbrook residents to use, just bring what you need for a game of basketball, volleyball, pickleball, padel tennis, ball hockey, or soccer. We do ask regular users to buy a community membership, as this helps us pay for maintenance on the facility and keep the lights on.

Please continue to watch your speed when driving around Glenbrook. A reminder that 45 Street had its speed reduced to a maximum of 40 km/h, and all playground and school zone reductions are in effect until 9:00 pm each night.

Have a great summer!

Murray

President
